Bay Area Food Recommendations

I have been living in the Bay Area for about 4 years now. These are general recommendations for food for anyone visiting the area. Obviously, I have not tried every place in the Bay Area.

Sekoya
Palo Alto

Kind of an Asian + American fusion of tapas. Almost everyone I've had on this menu has been very good to amazing. Recommend the bread service, double fried tempura mushrooms, and beef tongue skewers. Little bit on the $$$ side depending on how hungry you are.

Orchard City Kitchen Campbell

Another Asian + American fusion, but this time, a take on brunch food. Certain menu items occasionally switch in and out. The Chinese chicken salad was my favorite item (if it's still available). Otherwise, I also recommend the garlic noodles and the biscuits, bacon, & butter combo.

Menlo Park

Easily one of my favorite sushi spots in the South Bay area. Omakase style. While it is pricey, it's definitely a memorable experience. Can't recommend much because of the Omakase style, however, I could not recommend it enough.

Distrito Federal
Campbell

This one is many for the drinks. The food is very good but nothing special. This place just happens to have my favorite cocktail, "Lucid Dream." It also happens to be their signature and secret drink.
